MEET DR. YOHANA

Have you ever faced a moment so disruptive that you had to pull strength from places inside you that you never even knew existed? I get it. That happened to me when I was uprooted from my homeland of Rwanda during a time of unimaginable conflict and civil unrest. As a young refugee, I learned resilience not from books, but from surviving, turning pain into purpose. That early journey of survival fueled my lifelong passion: to lift others from despair to destiny. From serving as a volunteer in refugee camps to becoming a veteran of the United States Navy, and now empowering leaders across the globe, every step has been a testament that brokenness can birth brilliance when guided by hope.

I am proud to be a member of many esteemed associations, including serving as an Executive Director with the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team, where I have the honor of collaborating with Dr. John C. Maxwell and his world-ranking faculty leaders. I also serve as a Clinical Chaplain, where I have had the privilege of training alongside the highest-ranking chaplains and other leaders who have made a great impact serving their country in the United States Military and other Chaplain organizations. With degrees in biblical studies, Christian counseling, and a doctorate in global leadership, I have committed my life to transformational leadership and post-traumatic growth. Today, I live in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona with my beloved family. When I’m not coaching leaders, building dreams, or speaking hope, you’ll likely find me savoring a strong cup of coffee and getting lost in a good story because every great life is a story worth telling.  

Dr. Yohana founded Impact Embassy formerly Be Hope Inc., Resilient Coach™ Community formerly Alpha Resilience Group llc, and Christ Embassy Church, each addressing a unique sphere of leadership, healing, and service. Through these aligned missions, Dr. Yohana equips others to rise beyond adversity and shape a legacy that transcends personal success.
